Mission
To build a community-based agroforestry model by planting trees, training farmers, and producing healthy and delicious products.
We ground this in three pillars:
Trees: planting traditional, high-value perennial crops (e.g., breadfruit) within agroforestry systems.
The Jungle Project is a bold initiative from Kiss the Ground that envisions food systems rooted in regeneration. Our aim is to re-weave agriculture back into thriving ecosystems, creating abundance for people and planet alike.
What we do:
Trees – We partner with small-holder farmers in tropical zones to plant high-yield perennial trees such as breadfruit, rebuilding agro-forests that restore soil, protect watersheds, and absorb CO₂.
Training – We provide farmers with hands-on support, sharing best practices in regenerative agroforestry so that productivity, resilience, and sustainability go hand-in-hand.
Trade – We build bridges between growers and conscious markets, offering transparent supply chains and attractive returns so that regenerative farming becomes economically viable.
Why it matters:
Breadfruit, the cornerstone of our model, is a powerhouse for agricultural regeneration: it grows fast, yields for decades, requires minimal inputs, and fits into agro-forestry systems that our ancestors used to sustain diverse food webs. By restoring these systems, we rebuild healthy soils and waters, bolster biodiversity, improve food security, and strengthen community livelihoods.
